Just a quick update for you all on the winter weather potential for tomorrow. According to the forecast by the NWS Office in Birmingham, the snow and wintry precipitation is going to stay to our north. At this point all precipitation for Elmore County is forecasted to be rain. Below are a couple of graphics from the NWS Office that do show the type of precipitation, timing and forecasted amounts of precipitation.
Again, there is some uncertainty with regards to the forecast when talking about wintry weather, so check the weather forecast to make sure that nothing significant has changed. Should we have any significant changes in the forecast we will send out another informational package.
