The Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund, originally created in April 2011, by people in the community to help those in the community. Since then over $400,000 has been given to hundreds of families in direct aid.
Individuals or groups wishing to donate to the Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund may do so by one of two ways:
- Visit any of the six branches of First Community Bank in Wetumpka, Millbrook, Tallassee, Eclectic, Holtville, or one of two in Prattville.
- Visit https://cacfinfo.org/give/elmore-county-tornado-relief/ and donate to the Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund.
In partnership with the Central Alabama Community Foundation (CACF), all funds donated directly to the Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund or funds donated through the CACF for tornado relief will be administered by this group of volunteer individuals. Individuals impacted by the event may make application by email disasterrelief@elmoreco.org or by mailing the application to PO Box 1060, Wetumpka, AL 36092.

The Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund is a private non-profit managed by a board of directors. It is not managed by the Elmore County Commission or the Elmore County EMA.
