The NWS Storm Prediction Center has Elmore County in the Slight risk area for the possibility of severe weather today. According to the NWS Office in Birmingham, severe weather will be possible this afternoon from around 2 PM through 10 PM. The graphic below shows the potential impacts and potential timing for portions of Central Alabama.
