According to the NWS in Birmingham, a first round of severe storms will be possible through around 9 AM this morning. The main threat will be damaging straight line winds up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size. A second round of storms is possible this afternoon and evening from around 4 PM through midnight. The main threats continue to be damaging winds of up to 60 mph, with large hail and an isolated tornado possible. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
