Severe Weather Threat for Thursday, March 29, 2018

According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow afternoon across central Alabama. Elmore County is included in the Slight risk forecast area for the chance of severe storms. Current forecast timing for Elmore County is between 12 p.m. noon, and 7:00 p.m.  Damaging straight line winds of 60 mph and the possibility of a tornado will be the primary hazards.
