This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the counties served by the

National Weather Service office in Birmingham.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

There is a risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening across

all of Central Alabama. However, the favored area for severe storms

will be along the I-20 corridor with the main threat being damaging

straight line winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed

today and this evening.
