May 3, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. – Next Test of the All-Hazard Outdoor Warning Siren System

5/2/2017  10:30 PM    Elmore County EMA will be conducting the next scheduled monthly test of the All-Hazard Outdoor Warning Siren System on  May 3, 2017 at 9 A.M., unless there is a chance of inclement/severe weather for our area. In such cases, testing is typically delayed to the following Wednesday morning at 9 A.M..

Elmore County EMA wishes to thank all our faithful “siren monitors” around the county who selflessly become our “eyes and ears” during each monthly test. These faithful citizens listen and watch for functioning/malfunctioning sirens at their various locations and immediately report the status of the testing to our office. Their service is invaluable to maintaining the effectiveness of this critical public emergency notification system. We greatly appreciate all their support!

If you should notice an All-Hazards Outdoor Warning Siren in Elmore County malfunctioning, please contact the Elmore County EMA at 334-567-6451. If the siren is not one maintained by EMA, we will ensure the appropriate maintainer is contacted and provided with the reported information. Thank You!
