According to the National Weather Service (NWS), severe storms will be possible Friday night into Saturday morning. Elmore County is included in the Marginal Risk area for the threat of severe weather. The main threat will be damaging straight line winds up to 60 mph. Forecast confidence remains low at this time, and exact timing remains unclear. Please monitor the weather as we get closer to the event.
