HAPPENING NOW: Major Update to CSX Rail Crossings Maintenance Schedule as of 5:30 P.M. (3/9/2017)

The following schedule and status of rail crossings maintenance is provided for your information and planning:

5:30:01 P.M. 03/09/2017  CSX has provided the Elmore County EMA with their latest update to their rail crossings maintenance schedule.

The following schedule and status of rail crossings maintenance is provided for your information and planning:

Prattville Junction Rd (City of Millbrook) is completed  crossing is back open.

Rodgers Drive (City of Millbrook) is nearly completed and is expected to open sometime today.

Coosada Road (Town of Coosada) is completed crossing is back open.

Pecan Grove Road (Town of Coosada) is CLOSED and is nearly completed and is expected to open sometime today.

Gas Plant Street (off of Coosada Parkway) is CLOSED at the crossing. Work is expected to be completed later today.

Politic Road (Town of Elmore) is CLOSED at the rail crossing for scheduled maintenance and will remain CLOSED through the weekend.

Jackson Street (Town of Elmore) will be temporarily open over the weekend, but will be CLOSED again at the rail crossing for scheduled maintenance on Monday March 13, 2017.

The information below reflects maintenance still to be completed:

Roads scheduled to close the week of March 13 – 16, 2017:

Marion Spillway Road (Town of Elmore) is still pending closure.

Speigner Circle (Town of Deatsville)

Railroad Street (Town of Deatsville)

CSX advises this maintenance schedule is subject to changes due to both delays and accelerations of the work schedule.
