03/15/2017 9:11:41 AM The CSX representative has notified Elmore County EMA of the following update to maintenance progress on rail crossings:
Marion Spillway Road (Town of Elmore) is now OPEN.
All others remain on schedule as reported last evening (Shown Below):
Jackson Street (Town of Elmore) is CLOSED and will remain closed overnight until sometime late tomorrow morning (15 March 2017), when it is expected to be re-opened.
Speigner Circle (Town of Deatsville) is CLOSED at both crossings. One crossing will be temporarily opened in the morning (15 Mar) to allow for traffic flow while maintenance is being completed on the other crossing.
Railroad Street/Cypress Street will be temporarily re-opened with a gravel drive later today (14 Mar), allowing access this evening and during the overnight hours.
Deatsville Highway (Downtown Deatsville) is CLOSED and will remain closed overnight. This road is not expected to re-open until work is completed, which right now is expected to be sometime late Thursday afternoon (16 Mar) or possibly Friday morning (17 Mar).
