National Preparedness Month ~Week 2~ Do You Have an Emergency Plan in Place?

Do You Have an Emergency Plan in Place? #PrepareNow

The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency would like to remind our citizens that September is National Preparedness Month.  The website Ready.gov has vital information on how we can prepare our families, homes, schools, and places of work for times of emergency.  It offers tips on making an emergency plan, ways to educate our children on safety, and reminders to check our home safety devices (NOAA Weather Radios, Smoke Detectors, and Carbon Monoxide Detectors).

This week we would like for citizens to “Learn Life Saving Skills”. For more information about this week’s goal, watch this video and click here to learn more about building an emergency kit.
